Burnac’s storage rooms are each between 5,000 and 10,000 square feet, with massive three-level roll back racking. The cells are sealed from each other to prevent cross contamination, and each one is equipped with computer-monitored temperature and humidity controls. State-of-the-art air handling completes the picture.
AiroCide™ – based on NASA technology – uses a patented process to kill airborne mould and pathogens in cold storage.
Two of the storage cells have the ability to remove oxygen and introduce carbon dioxide to control the natural ripening process ideal for most products, especially blueberries.
